Our Experience with Micfo
We have chosen to host this site http://www.webhostauditor.com on Micfo along with many other sites. We bought the MG Super Plan and prepaid for 12 months which was $9.95/month. This plan gives us the ability to host 6 independent sites. The bandwidth and diskspace offerings of 250GB and 5000MB respectively is more than we will ever use. So far we have been nothing but impressed with Micfo's amazing service. Setup was amazingly quick, within an hour of signing up we received our account details and our site was up. A myriad of services is available through Micfo.com. Everything from simple web hosting to resellers’ and dedicated hosting. Plans begin at $5.95 per month, for the lowest costing web hosting package, and go up to $450.00 per month for the top-level dedicated hosting package.

Looking deeper into the Web Hosting packages, we find three levels: MG Super, MG Special, and MG Deluxe. The MG Super package, for as little as $5.95 per month, comes complete with 5GB of disk space, 250GB of monthly data transfer, up to six domains and unlimited sub-domains, 10 MySQL databases, and a 30 day money back guarantee. Micfo.com charges $7.95 per year to register a domain name with them. Additionally, Micfo.com offers a control panel and site builder (SiteStudio) with every hosting plan as well as search engine submission, SSH, FTP, Dreamweaver and FrontPage access, and web stats.

Each of the hosting packages comes with a bundle of CGI scripts, CubeCart, Zen Cart, OS Commerce, and are PayPal and Authorize.net compatible. Reliability

Micfo.com’s servers are located in Houston, Texas and are housed in a 65000 square foot facility with redundant UPS, air conditioning, generator backup, and smoke and fire detection and protection systems. Fourteen Gigabit Ethernet links from seven backbone providers (Time-Warner, Verio, Cogent, Williams Telecommunications, Allegiance, MFN and Savvis) connect their data center with the rest of the world.

All servers are Dual Xeon 2.4Ghz monsters with 4GB of DDR RAM, and 2x73GB SCSI hard drives. Interestingly enough, Micfo.com provides web cam images on their ‘Network’ page (http://www.micfo.com/network.html) where you can look at their data center in real time.
